I grew up in San Diego, California and currently live near Los Angeles. From the age of 15, I have chased everyone I know around with my camera. It all started with my Canon AE-1 and spending every paycheck from my high school job developing film. I switched to digital when I started photographing more than I could afford in film and haven’t looked back since. And even though it stays comfortably packed up in retirement, my AE-1 remains my most cherished piece of photo equipment.

Before my babies were born, I worked in web design/online marketing for years. And I love sharing everything I have learned about it, especially how to apply a lot of this knowledge to a photography business.
I also love sewing and crafts. My mama taught me at a young age. When I was ready to start designing my own photography props, it came in handy.
Amanda Stock Creative is my little place online where I sell my creations and write about things that interest me. I hope you enjoy it. If you are interested in learning how I make the photography props I sell here, you can visit DIYPhotographyProps.com. If you’d like you send me an email, I would love to hear from you.
